Meeting Point
The tour departs from King Salman Oasis Metro Station, parking area — easy to reach by both metro and car.
The Hike
The trail runs along the edge of the Tuwaiq Escarpment, offering dramatic cliff views and wide desert panoramas. The terrain is rocky limestone — comfortable hiking shoes are essential. Difficulty is moderate and suitable for most fitness levels with no technical climbing required.
The Drive
Expect approximately 1 hour 45 minutes of off-road driving each way through open desert. The journey itself is part of the experience — the shifting landscape and remote terrain set the tone for what awaits at the cliffs.
Wildlife Stops
En route you'll visit a camel farm and the Arabian gazelle park — two authentic, unhurried stops that give context to the natural environment of the region.

- The terrain is rocky and uneven in sections — closed-toe shoes with grip are strongly recommended. Sandals and flip-flops are not suitable for the trail.
- The site is remote and open — sun exposure is significant in the afternoon. Sunscreen, a hat, and water are non-negotiable.

What is the difference between this tour and the dinner experience?
This is the hiking-focused version of the Edge of the World experience. It covers the full trail, 4x4 transfer, wildlife stops, and stargazing — but does not include dinner. It's shorter, more affordable, and built around the hike itself. The Dinner Under the Stars tour includes a full meal and runs slightly longer. Both share the same trail and core experience.

What should I wear for the hike?
